Submission procedure

Several types of participation will be possible:
1.  Platform presentation
2.  Short platform presentation (+poster)
3.  Without presentation (audience)
4. Publishing of papers without the presence at the conference

In 2019 we introduce author and reviewer dashboards – Click here to access the submission system. You will need to create an account first (follow the link below login window). You can access your account to upload manuscripts, monitor status and reply for reviews.


Extended abstract of a paper should be written in English, and must also include the following information:

Extended Abstract should be prepared according to the template and submitted via our conference website: Abstracts Submission.

Submissions are welcome from 1st January 2019 and must be received before 1st May 2019. On the basis of the submitted extended abstracts, a review will be undertaken to select the best papers for oral presentation or poster presentation. Notification of acceptance will be sent before 1st June 2019.

All selected extended abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings with an ISBN (digital library only).


If your extended abstract was selected you can also prepare an 8-page full manuscript which will be included in the conference proceedings and send to IWA publishing office.

Full paper should be prepared according to the template and submitted via our conference website: Full Papers Submission.

Deadline for submission of full manuscripts is 1st August 2019.

The selected papers will be additionally reviewed by IWA and published in the following journals: Water Science and Technology and Water Science and Technology: Water Supply.
